stand up paddle boarding

Stand up paddleboarding is a fun, accessible way to get your young people on the water. Delivered by a trained Scout leader with B1 Paddlesports permit, this session will give your scouts chance to get outside on our beautiful local waters.

Use the form to book a session for your group. Please check the calendar for available dates, dates with suitable tides are highlighted. All sessions are weather dependent, please check the weather particularly wind speed. 

Need to know

Stand up paddle boarding is only possible when the wind speed is Force 3 or less. If the wind is predicted to be more than this the session will not go ahead

You will need at least two adults with your group - one on shore and one on the water, this can be in a kayak, a paddleboard or just standing in the water.

Buoyancy aids suitable for Cub and Scout ages are provided. If you think you will need a buoyancy aid smaller than aged 7 years or more than two adult sized buoyancy aids please get in touch.
